DescriptionSends thanks from the President to the Lords Commissioners for the provision to meet the annual expenditure at the National Magnetic Observatory at Eskadalemuir. The letter of Sir George Murray will be brought before the Council at the next meeting on 24 January. The request for further information regarding the expenditure has been communicated to the Director of the National Physical Laboratory with a view of obtaining material on which an answer might be based.
