DescriptionSearches have been made for any records, prior to 1731, of the work of Jacques Christophe le Blon, but Harrison finds that the question can only be settle the question of any communication having been laid by him before the Royal Society, by a search through at least two volumes of the Journal of the Royal Society. The volume of Harrison's work prevents him from undertaking the task, and asks Vuaflart if he thinks it worthwhile getting an outsider in to look.
