TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor John Milne, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 January 1907
DescriptionIs glad that he is recovering from the monachial visitation. Tells him to go on with the illustrations, but before he sends them to the engraver, asks if he will let Geikie know what the estimate of their cost will be. If the cost is reasonable the Royal Society will probably have the work done in Edinburgh, which would be convenient for his supervision. Geikie does not wish to see the drawings, if Milne is satisfied, unless there is any question about arranging the plates.
