DescriptionCalls their attention to the fact that one of their representatives on the General Board and Executive Committee of the National Physical Laboratory, Sir J Wolfe Barry, will be retiring from that body next December, and so Harrison asks them to nominate another representative in good time. Professor [Joseph] Larmor states that the Royal Society would approve the renomination of Barry in the special circumstances of his intimate connection with extensions now in progress.
