TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor L Becker
Date12 February 1907
DescriptionForwarding for his consideration a memo on Backer's paper on 'The Distribution of Blue and Violet Light in the Corona on August 30, 1905, etc', and Harrison would be obliged if he could send a reply as soon as possible.

Memo contains questions from a referee on a point of fundamental importance relating to the camera, film and lens used. The referee also does not find the point considered that every point of continuous object like the Corona gives a whole series of images which are superimposed on the image of other portions. To get the brightness of any portion from the result is quite complex.
