TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to His Excellency, The German Ambassador, 9 Carlton House Terrace, S.W.
DateNovember 1906
DescriptionThe Davy Medal has been awarded to his fellow countryman, Professor Rudolf Fittig, of Strasburg, for his investigations in chemistry. The President and Officers feel that this affords special ground for the hope that the Ambassador may be able to be present, or be represented at the distribution of the medals. As Fittig is unable to attend, it is hoped that the Ambassador could receive the medal on his behalf.
