TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Dr Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 November 1906
DescriptionHopes there will be no further delay in letting Bruce have the 'Scotia' material. This will of course appear in its proper place in the records of the National Expedition. Bruce will acknowledge his debt to Chree, The Royal Society and the National Physical Laboratory for liberty to publish the data before they appear in other volumes. Piecemeal publication of the magnetic work of the National Expedition is not desirable. It would be better to delay the volume. Doubts the Admiralty will be in any hurry to publish, whatever they think about the Magnetic Pole.
