TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Louis Brennan
Date18 April 1907
DescriptionHarrison replies to Brennan's enquiry, explaining the only requirement of a Fellow communicating a paper is that he has satisfied himself it is suitable for the Royal Society. They are glad to have papers illustrated by experiments and models, which he notes are rare nowadays. Harrison likes to remind people that in the first year of the Society's existence, 1663, they were officially described as "A Society for the improving of natural knowledge by experiments"'.
