TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Bertram Hopkinson
Date19 April 1907
DescriptionHarrison explains the difficulties they have had with the block reproducing a tracing of gas pressure for Hopkinson's paper on the recording calorimeter. The reproduction requested produced a shallow block and a poor impression when printed, and so the only way to achieve a better effect is to have it as a separate plate printed on special paper. Harrison has had this done to save time, as that number of Proceedings of the Royal Society has already been delayed, but he notes that it is contrary to usual practice due to the perishable nature of loaded paper and the extra expense incurred.

Harrison communicates this for reference should Hopkinson contribute papers in future.
