TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date24 April 1907
DescriptionGeikie sends thanks for Chree's letter and documents. With regard to the tables referred to, he expresses his confidence in Chree's treatment of them, and will leave the matter with Chree and Richard Tetley Glazebrook. He notes that there is no difference between printing the figures in black or red, providing the printer is given clear instructions. Use of three types should be avoided in such cases if possible, with attention paid to clarity.

Geikie thinks the historical remarks referred to by Commander Chetwynd would combine more successfully with Chree's discussion rather than with the tables, and would most appropriately be made by Chree. Any information they have regarding the original arrangements made for the work of the expedition are at Chree's disposal.
