Description | Harrison acknowledges receipt of Thompson's letter about the meeting of the International Council for the Investigation of the North Sea, and will submit it, as soon as possible, for the sanction of the Council. He anticipates no objection providing the meetings do not clash with those at the Royal Society, and points out that on the 13 June there are meetings of the Council and the Society, which would make it difficult to accomodate an outside body. He states that at all times the space for Committee meetings is limited, as much of their spare room is occupied by staff of the cataloguing department which now work at the Society. |
