TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Henry Edward Armstrong, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date9 May 1907
DescriptionGeikie explains that, at a meeting of Board C of the Government Grant Committee, they confirmed that no communication had been received from Armstrong since May 1905, despite the usual formal request issued in November, and an additional reminder on 3 January that a report was required. They have therefore passed a resolution that the matter be brought to the attention of the Council of the Royal Society, with an application to be made for him to return the £100 balance. The matter will be considered at the next Council meeting.
