Description | Harrison forwards the Chairman's note on Walker's paper [included], and states that having already sent him Hardy's letter they will have to wait for the Committee of Papers.
The Chairman suggests that, as the paper has already been passed for publication in Proceedings of the Royal Society, it would be unwise to submit the author's note on Professor Matthews' work, identified as a "grudging" acknowledgement, to Professor Charles Sherrington privately. As it is a difficult matter to decide, the Chairman suggests referring it to the Committee of Papers of the Council. |
