TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor H B Dixon, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 May 1907
DescriptionHarrison clarifies that Dixon's order was for 100, rather than 50, copies of his paper, and these will be issued as a double paper in one wrapper. He is annoyed by printer's mistake in printing a criticism of the first proofs of the figures as a footnote on Plate 2, and believes it to be carelessness on their part, and has written to them about it. All the pulls of the plates, including Dixon's private copies, are printed together so he cannot send reprints without them, but he is trying to insist that the printers reprint them at their own expense as it was their error. If Dixon believes it desirable, they will also issue erratum slips for Proceedings of the Royal Society.
