TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Rose Bradford, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 May 1907
DescriptionHarrison explains that the paper by Dr Shattock and Dr Dudgeon on fatty degeneration of the blood, communicated by Bradford, was accepted on the condition that its illustrations be condensed into one plate. Although the author has agreed, the estimates given for the plate are very high, £14 being the lowest quote obtained, and the Secretaries are reluctant to spend that amount on a paper for Proceedings of the Royal Society. He asks if Bradford believes the illustrations to be essential to the elucidation of the paper, and offers to send them to him or allow him to visit them if he has forgotten them.
