Description | Harrison writes to ask if Porter is happy for his paper on the results of the 1905 Eclipse Expedition to be read formally by the Secretaries on the 30 May, allowing it to be published in 10 days time in the Proceedings of the Royal Society. If not, its publication will have to be deferred to a later number, which is likely to delay its appearance by a month or more.
They originally intended to read the paper on 25 April, but that meeting was later devoted to the Croonian Lecture, so Porter's paper was postponed to a later meeting. |
