TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Macewen, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date23 May 1907
DescriptionHarrison encloses for approval a sample proof of one of the figures illustrating Macewen's paper on bone regeneration, printed on ordinary Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society paper to demonstrate how they will appear when printed as blocks alongside the letterpress. He believes the sample is satisfactory, but asks that he return it with his approval and any comments or suggestions he cares to make.

He also asks that Macewen supply silver prints of figures 4-8 and 11, which they currently lack. The engraver has stated he can get better results from silver prints. All the figures can then be reproduced and a revise of the whole paper, with figures inserted, can be forwarded to him for approval.
