Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alfred Bray Kempe, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 29 May 1907 |
Description | Harrison forwards a press cutting from a Ceylon newspaper which gives the first intimation of the action of the Ceylon [Sri Lankan] Government in relation to the Pearl Fisheries Report. A note from Professor Herdman, which arrived that morning, reported the same thing. He supposes that they will soon receive the money from the Crown Agents.
Miss Bremner has said that she has written to Kempe answering his enquiry about the amount of correction of slips that can be done in 23 days, and as supposed, this only applies to the mathematical slips. |
