TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Professor Clifford Allbutt, Fellow of the Royal Society, Cambridge
Date5 June 1907
DescriptionGeikie has only recently returned from the Linnaeus bicentenary celebrations in Sweden, so has just seen the letter forwarded by Allbutt from Mr Gardnell. He recommends Gardnell prepare a short abstract of the scientific side of his work and communicates it to Allbutt, who can then judge whether or not it is suitable for submission to the Royal Society. He notes that the full paper would be unsuitable for publication in the Society's journals.
