Description | Further to their conversation that morning, Harrison submits a summary of staff employed by the Royal Society, with the aggregate amount paid in salaries and wages, and he asks that Jaques obtain from the Atlas Office a quotation for insuring their staff against the operation of the Workmen's Compensation Act. He also asks that Jaques ascertain whether, with any policy taken out by the Society, the insurance company would insert a clause agreeing to cover the legal expenses of any action brought by a Society employee in pursuance of a claim under the Act.
Harrison also asks that the Society may consider the form of policy offered, particularly with regard to the matter of notice of an accident. |
