TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Colonel Henry Godwin-Austen, Nore, Godalming
Date12 July 1907
DescriptionHarrison acknowledges Godwin-Austen's letter requesting a Publications Fund grant in aid of publishing 'The land and freshwater Mollusca of India'. The last Council meeting of the session has been held, and as grants need a vote of Council, it will have to wait until after the vacation. He further explains that the usual times to consider such matters are January and July, and he asks whether the matter is urgent enough to require that he request Council to give the matter special consideration.
