TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Commander Campbell Hepworth, Meteorological Office, 63 Victoria Street, S.W.
Date19 July 1907
DescriptionHarrison replies on behalf of the Treasurer of the Royal Society to Hepworth's request for permission to order the necessary maps for the meteorological portions of the Antarctic Report. He explains that the management of the publication of scientific results has been delegated to the Society by the Antarctic Committee, so it is not necessary to obtain permission of that body.

Archibald Geikie is editor, and in reference to correspondence, has asked Harrison to say that he confirms what he has written in his letter of 16 July and trusts that Hepworth will make arrangements with the Geographical Society for the supply of the necessary maps, bearing in mind that more than 750 impressions may be needed for the 750 volumes if the maps he requires are to be portions picked out from the large map.
