Description | Mr James handed Towle the letter from Geikie about printing the Sleeping Sickness correspondence, but he had already sent the proof to the printers for press. Prior to this, he saw Dr Bradford, who agreed that his letter to Geikie could be circulated to the Tropical Diseases Committee. When Towle spoke to him on the telephone on Friday evening for authority to do so, he stated he did not intend it to be circulated, but having read it again, agreed for it to be printed and circulated.
He has put the letter from the Colonial Office of 18 July on the agenda. |
