TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr A Rampal, 32 Rue Grigan, Marseille
Date23 July 1907
DescriptionRampal's letter enquiring about Dr Peyssoneel and his work has been received and the Society are searching its archives for the manuscript on coral, but so far without success and they do not find any entry of it in their catalogues. The work may be traced ultimately but the outlook is not promising. The manuscript of the papers printed in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' they no doubt possess. Peyssonnel was elected a Fellow if the Royal Society in 1756. The Society does not know of any notice of his life in any of the Society's publications.
