TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Mr John Scott Keltie
Date22 August 1907
DescriptionKeltie's letter of 20 August with reference to the Antarctic charts arrived this morning. So far as Harrison knows the 750 copies requisitioned for the Meteorological part of the report are all that will be required for the portion of the 'Discovery' results which the Royal Society had in charge. As already instructed by Mr Kempe to Sir Clement Markham, the Royal Society would like a dozen copies of the charts for its own use, so that these 762 copies are all that they should need. The Magnetic Report has a small specially prepared map showing the position of the observing station and there may be one or two other special maps but these will be independent of the 762 copies.
