DescriptionThe manuscript of P O Pedersen's paper on 'the Surface Tension of Liquids investigated by the method of Jet Vibration', has been received back from the President after revision, with a note saying that he concurs in Carey Foster's report which was favorable to publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and has marked some tabular matter for omission. Asks Larmor if printing of the paper may proceed under S.O. [Standing Order] 43.

A new paper by J W Mallet on 'Results of the Interactions of Mercury with Alloys of other Metals' has been received. It is estimated to print five pages of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' at a cost of £2.10.0. There are no illustrations.
