TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Sydney John Hickson, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Zoology Sectional Committee
Date30 August 1907
DescriptionReferees [reports] on Professor W J Sollas' paper 'On the Cranial and Facial Characters of the Neanderthal Race' have been received from members of the Zoology Committee with the exception of Mr Boulenger and Professor Poulton, who is away. The six members all approve of the paper being recommended for publication and Mr Goodrich strongly approves of the paper being recommended, having read it himself. In view of the favorable reports of the two referees and the Committee, Harrison queries if Hickson recommends the printing of the paper in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' under Standing Order 43, before the beginning of the next session.
