DescriptionAcknowledges Murray's letter of 5 September and asking for the names of expert lecturers on subjects of a popular scientific nature. In Harrison's absence Sheppard suggests Murray write to suggest that he apply to the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Institution who will probably be able to give the information required. The Society does not employ lecturers at its meetings and is therefore not in a position to advise.
