DescriptionA letter from Dr Buckmaster with reference to two papers by Drs Buckmaster and Gardner, 'on the rate of Assumption of Chloroform by the Blood during Anaesthesia' and 'function of the red Corpuscles in Chloroform Anaesthesia', is enclosed [not enclosed]. The Physiology Committee resolve the two papers be recommended for publication in the the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' subject to the authors being asked to reduce the number of illustrations in accordance with the suggestion of the second referee. States the recommendations of the second referee. Asks if Martin thinks Buckmaster's suggestion of redrawing the curves illustrating the latter paper on one sheet and defraying the cost of reproduction, should be accepted.
