We have this morning received intimation from the Treasury that the Patmaster-General has been authorised to pay to the account of the National Physical Laboratory at the Bank of England, Western Branch, the sum of £3,000 being the balance of the grant for salaries &c. to the National Physical Laboratory, and £750 for the Eskdale Muir Observatory.
