Date26 July 1907
DescriptionAt the direction of Sir A Geikie, Miss Stopes and D M S Watson's paper on 'the present Distribution and Origins of the Calcareous Concretions in Coal Seams Known as 'Coal Balls', is sent to Strahan with a view to obtaining an opinion on the Geological side of the paper. Mr R Kidston, botanical referee thinks the paper, with certain modifications, quite worthy of publication but expresses doubt as to whether the '[Philosophical] Transactions [of the Royal Society]' should be the place for publication.
