TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alfred Bray Kempe, Treasurer, Royal Society
Date14 October 1907
DescriptionHarrison has discussed the lighting in the tea room with Mr Haine, who although unprepared to give an exact estimate without knowing how easy it will be to access the ceiling of the room, suggests that it should not cost more than £25, inclusive of a new central chandelier at around £10, two new pendant lights in the corners and three wall plugs with fitting and wiring.

If Kempe will sanction the expenditure, Harrison will ask Haine to begin work immediately so that it can be completed prior to the next Session. The expense will be included in next financial year.
