| Description | Geikie reports that the President and Council of the Royal Society have considered Fitzmaurice's letter and express their gratification that Sleeping Sickness, long a topic of investigation for the Society, should be the subject of the forthcoming International Conference. They will gladly nominate a representative to the British Bureau once it is constituted.
The Society would also be glad, if they are able, to offer accommodation in their rooms for the Bureau, and assign secretarial work to a member of their clerical staff, although the demands on their space and staff may not allow this to happen. |
