TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Professor Beattie
Date27 July 1907
DescriptionAs Beattie's complete manuscript is coming so soon he has kept back the initial page Beattie sent. They will want a proper estimate of cost so as to keep the maps et cetera within the sum available. Reinold and Rucker's maps were supplied by the authors and did not come into Beattie's estimate. Has asked Dr Chree to settle with Larmor as regards revision of the proof. There is a question of whether it would be printed by Harrison & Sons or at the Cambridge University Press. In either case it would be published by the Royal Society for the Government of South Africa. Asks if Beattie has a preference, the cost is about the same for either.
