TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Dr William Napier Shaw, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date26 July 1907
DescriptionThe enclosed from Sir J Eliot [not enclosed] about ships logs and desert islands is a question for those who know. Asks for Shaw's views as gathered from British experience. Proposes to reply that questions that arise as to ships logs et cetera, which can only be settled by expert experience, would preferably wait until the Committee can meet. Eliot and Shaw are the only people that can help. If Shaw can agree, Larmor will wind up the whole matter. A spare copy of the document under reference is enclosed [not enclosed] and should be returned.
