Alternatively, if he left immediately after the medal presentations, without waiting for the election of the Council and Officers, he would likely have the time to return to his hotel [to change] and out to the Whitehall Rooms [for dinner], especially if he makes use of the 'Tube railways' which will practically transport him door to door. |
