TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Ramsay Heatley Traquair, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 November 1907
DescriptionIn response to his letter of that morning, Harrison states that as it is often a rush between the Anniversary meeting and the dinner, some Fellows of the Royal Society arrive at the meeting already dressed [for dinner]. Alternatively, if he left immediately after the medal presentations, without waiting for the election of the Council and Officers, he would likely have the time to return to his hotel [to change] and out to the Whitehall Rooms [for dinner], especially if he makes use of the 'Tube railways' which will practically transport him door to door.
