TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Cresswell Shearer, Trinity College, Cambridge
Date28 November 1907
DescriptionHarrison responds to Shearer's question regarding payment for the plates for his recent Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society paper. He states that Werner & Winter's bill to the Royal Society was for 1100 M, equivalent to £53 and 13 shillings. As Shearer agreed to pay the balance above £30, he suggests that Shearer write a cheque for the excess, namely £23 and 13 shillings, in favour of Werner & Winter of Frankfort, which he will send on to them with the Society's own cheque for £30.
