Description | Harrison notes that they have seen Mr Griggs about Beevor's Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society paper, who says that they are all on the stone in readiness for printing, aside from the headlines, figures, numbers etc. Griggs has been asked to quote a price for supplying the Society with the copies they require, and they have asked that he first communicate with Beevor as the drawings were originally done to his order. Once Griggs has heard from Beevor, he will send Harrison the price, and providing they approve, they will give the order to print.
The lettered key plans on transparent paper are not yet drawn, so he will try to have these done, and will, where necessary, consult with Beevor in the matter. As the paper is listed for reading on Thursday, Harrison will keep the manuscript in case Beevor wishes to use it at the meeting. |
