TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Edward Smith, 58 Mexfield Road, East Putney, S.W.
Date16 December 1907
DescriptionWith reference to Snith's letter of 11 November, Harrison encloses a copy of the certificate of Sir Joseph Bankes. The mode of election into the Society is a historical matter which cannot be answered off hand, but he is welcome to apply for permission to consult the archives of the Royal Society, where he would doubtless find useful notes on the subject.
