TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Watson Cheyne, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 December 1907
DescriptionIn response to Cheyne's letter of 23 December, Harrison gave instructions for the nomination paper for Fellowship to be sent to him and hopes that it reached him. He explains that the office was preoccupied with arrangements for Lord Kelvin's funeral at the time, so it is possible that his request escaped their attention. He encloses a nomination form in case this occurred, and takes it upon himself to extend the date for receiving it from the statutory last day of 31 December to 10 January due to the circumstances.
