TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Messrs Haden & Sons, 123 Cromer Street, W.C.
Date27 December 1907
DescriptionHarrison explains that the delay to responding to his letter regarding the boiler was due to the need to consult the Office of Works, and he has only just been able to consult the Clerk of Works. He still needs to consult their engineer, and hopes to do so the following morning, at which point he will call them to give the result of that interview. Meanwhile, he does not anticipate any objection to the scheme they propose for renewing the boiler, and subject to the Treasurer's approval, he asks that they be prepared, on receipt of word from Harrison, to begin work on removing the boiler as suggested.
