Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Sidney Martin, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physiology Sectional Committee |
Date | 6 January 1908 |
Description | Harrison shares the opinions of the two referees on 'A contribution to the study of the mechanism of respiration, with especial reference to the action of the Vertebral Column and Diaphragm' by J F Halls Dally. Professor Ernest Starling believes it to be a good piece of work, but too long for Proceedings of the Royal Society and so recommends that it be published in a suitable anatomical or physiological journal, with an abstract in Proceedings. Professor Thomas Gregor Brodie reports in favour of publication in Proceedings, with the anatomical detail considered, on further consideration, essential to the work.
Harrison asks that Martin minute his opinion on action to be taken. |
