Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor William Dobinson Halliburton, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 6 January 1908 |
Description | Harrison acknowledges Halliburton's letter enclosing a certificate in favour of the candidature of Professor Haycraft, but explains that neither he nor two of his superior officers feel comfortable formally accepting receipt of a certificate after the deadline, especially in light of their strictness on former occasions. It will be provisionally placed with the others for next election, and Halliburton's letter will be laid before Council at their next meeting to decide whether or not to accept the candidature. |
