TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr W [William] N [Napier] Shaw FRS
Date29 January 1908
DescriptionThe Royal Society have received the forwarded correspondence just after the last meeting of the Observatories Committee, relating to the Indian Monsoon Rainfall. Dr Larmor has seen the memorandum and thinks that if Sir Eliot concurs there is perhaps no reason to raise a meeting, unless it is desired to raise the question of an Imperial Meteorological Bureau. Sir Elliot is in England and would be willing to stay until the middle of February, but if a meeting is not necessary it seems a pity to keep him in England. Memorandum is enclosed, and an official copy of the correspondence. Please return with reply.
