TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to The Manager, The International Aspirator Co Ltd, 252 Oxford Street
Date14 February 1908
DescriptionOn the subject of the Aspirator supplied to the Royal Society. The panel which had previously warped so that it would not close, has started again and can only be held in position by being tied up. The wood was evidently not properly seasoned. The machine is used regularly now at the Royal Society and undoubtedly removes a considerable amount of dust. However Harrison doubts whether the pump is powerful enough to clean really thick carpets. Harrison states this for the Manager's information and not for public use.
