DescriptionHarrison has already acknowledged the receipt of Cooper's letter enclosing 27 cheques at £1. 1. 0 and 2 postal orders of £1. 1. 0. each, being subscriptions of Members of the Physical Society for the Proceedings of the Royal Society. Royal Society printed form of bankers orders would not be convenient to use for one of Cooper's subscribers, but Messrs Robarts Lubbock & Co, are the Royal Society Bankers, and an instruction for payment to them could be made by your member and would serve the purpose in view.
