Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your letter of February 17th, I have to say that Henry Gray was elected a Fellow of this Society on June 3rd, 1852. On referring to his certificate I find no record of his candidature having been supported by Sir Benjamin Brodie, who at the time had been a Fellow for only three years.'
