TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr J [John] S [Smith] Flett, Geological Survey Office, 28 Jermyn Street, SW
Date24 February 1908
Description'Dear Sir,
Would you kindly let me know whether or not you wish any abstract of your Soufriere Petrography paper to appear in the Proceedings [of the Royal Society]. It is our practice to publish abstracts of Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society] paper, in order to make the Proceedings complete as to their contents,; but if you do not wish any abridgment or abstract to appear, or are not disposed to take the trouble to prepare one, I do not know that we should press the point. You will remember the only summary we have so far received is the very brief "Meeting Abstract" which is hardly suitable for publication in the Proceedings.'
