Date11 March 1908
Description'Dea Sir,
In reply to your letter of yesterday, the papers to be read at the meetings of the Royal Society are announced in "The Times" every Tuesday. Representatives of the press are not in the ordinary course admitted to the meetings, but if there were any special paper which you wish to hear, application could be made to the President for Permission to admit your representative. In any case the discussions at the meetings are not allowed to be reported; and it is subject to that endortion being offered that press representatives are admitted at all.'
