DescriptionThe Observations Committee at their last meeting had before them correspondence relating to the Monsoon Observations in India and further consideration of the subject was postponed, minutes of meeting enclosed. Further communication on the subject was received shortly after the meeting which is enclosed and Sir John Eliot is asked for his opinions. It is asked that Sir John Eliot give his opinion soon as it will be of great assistance. There is a possibility another rmeeting will be called and in view of that requests to know the likelihood of Sir John Eliot being in England.
